I think I've almost exhausted my Hicks/Rosseau inspiration. Hicks frequently includes a reluctant lion being hugged to death by a child. Here's my spin on that theme.

Tidewater Gallery Ad for July in Arts Alive


packing for a NYC trip - acouple of years ago I got a lot of inspiration from NYC in August - shop windows, street vendors, etc. Hope I'm inspired again. This flower shop in Brooklyn Heights was used in the Gallery ad, and Sold!

Table for Two at the Cupid Cafe



Just finished this big one 40 x 30 for the Emerald Isle Art show - this is my version of an eating spot in West Palm Beach - Makes me want to sit down and order!

Saturday was beautiful but HOT for Swansboro's annual art event - Here's a pic of Mike Rooney painting outside the Tidewater Gallery.

Looking forward to my artshow in July on Emerald Isle - and leaving tomorrow for our bi-monthly trip to WNY to see family and friends.

Finished this last week, 2nd version of a Conch Fritters that's been sold. Located in Key West, I loved the colors of this food stand, and the roosters scouting for left overs.
